Tiffauges Castle

Château de Tiffauges is a fortified castle located in the commune of Tiffauges, in the Vendée department. It is sometimes called Château de Barbe Bleue, in reference to the nickname of Gilles de Rais, its most famous resident.

The château has been listed as a historic monument since July 9, 1957.
