Direct access to Pège beach, approx. 150 m away.

🏡 Accommodation & pitches

What types of accommodation are available?

We offer a variety of accommodation: mobile homes, fully-equipped tents, chalets, lodges, tree houses, as well as bare pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

Are the accommodations equipped with sanitary facilities? All our accommodations have private sanitary facilities, except for our coco sweet tents, which have no sanitary facilities. See the details of each accommodation for more information.

Do the pitches have electricity?

Yes, all our pitches are equipped with a 10-amp electrical connection. Remember to bring an adapter if necessary.

How big are the pitches?

Our pitches range in size from 80 to 120 m². They can accommodate up to 6 people.

Can we choose our location?

Yes, but the schedule is subject to daily changes to optimize planning.

If you want to be sure of having your pitch number, a “Guaranteed pitch choice” option will be charged at €50 when you make your reservation.

Can I bring a tent AND a vehicle to the same pitch?

Yes, most of our pitches allow you to pitch a tent with a vehicle. Please specify when booking.

Are pets allowed in the accommodation or on the pitches?

Pets are allowed on certain pitches and in certain accommodations, subject to certain conditions (leashed, up-to-date vaccination record, etc.).

Is there a deposit to be paid for accommodation?

Yes, a deposit of 500€ is required prior to arrival for bank loan rentals. It is returned after the inventory of fixtures, if no damage is noted.

Is the accommodation heated/air-conditioned?

No, none of the rental units have air conditioning and yes, all have electric heating.

Are sheets and towels provided?

No, sheets are optional. We can rent you disposable sheet kits. 13€ for a double bed and 9€ for a cot.

We also offer HOTELS PACKS at 120€ with sheets included, beds made up, end-of-stay cleaning and a bathroom kit.

What time are arrival and departure?

Arrival is possible from 4pm and departure before 10am in July and August. Please make an appointment with our staff for your departure inventory and respect these times for the smooth running of the site.

Is there a minimum number of nights to book accommodation?

In high season, a minimum of 2 or 3 nights is generally required. Out of season, reservations by the night are possible.

Can I set up an extra tent next to my accommodation?

No, no tent will be tolerated next to a rental.

🏊 Pool & beach

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, heated indoor pool when open, + paddling pool

Are qualified lifeguards present around the pools?

The aquatic area is not supervised by lifeguards, only the beach is in July and August.

And the beach?

Direct access to the Pège beach, ideal for swimming, fishing and water sports. What’s more, there’s a surf school on site: the riding factory!

Is the campsite pool accessible to all visitors?

No, the swimming pool is strictly reserved for campers staying at Camping Mahana.

What are the dimensions of the pool?

The pool is 16 metres long and 10 metres wide, and includes a paddling pool.

What are the pool opening times?

The swimming pool is open from April to September, daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Can children go swimming alone?

No, children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to access the pool.

Are there safety devices for young children?

Yes, a standard-compliant safety gate is installed to prevent young children from entering alone.

Can I wear shorts or a T-shirt in the pool?

No, the wearing of shorts, T-shirts or wetsuits is forbidden for reasons of hygiene, except during diving initiations.

Is it compulsory to wear a wristband at the pool?

Yes, you must wear a wristband to access the pool.

🍽️ Catering & retail

Where can I eat?

The campsite has 3 catering outlets:

  • Evening bar/restaurant with top-class dinner shows in July and August.
  • Beach snack bar “La Vague Gourmande” facing the sea, right next to the “riding factory” surf school.
  • A guinguette or campsite offering oysters, sweets, drinks…right next to the communal barbecue.

Is there a grocery store?

Yes, small supermarket/grocery (Votre Marché) 2 mins walk from campsite.

Is there a bakery?

Yes, there’s a bread and pastry dispenser right in front of the campsite all year round.

🧺 Services & equipment

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, Wi-Fi at a charge: €10 for 1 connection/week, €15 for 2 connections/week.

Is there a launderette?

Yes, a modern laundry area is available with “Wash ME”.

Are bicycles available for hire?

Yes, rental of adult/child bikes through our partners beach bikes or cycl’evasion.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed at extra cost. For rentals, pets are only allowed in certain ranges such as Moorea, Aloha, Tahia, Ohana, Maori, Chalet and all pitches.

What are the instructions for animals?

Only one animal per pitch, dog or cat. Dogs likely to be dangerous (categories 1 and 2, decree of 27/04/99) are not accepted. They are accepted on presentation of an up-to-date vaccination certificate (decree of 22/01/85), must be tattooed (decree of 30/06/92), must be non-aggressive and must be kept on a leash. Their owners must remove their droppings; bags are available at reception. Under no circumstances may they be left alone in cars, mobile homes, chalets, caravans or tents on the pitch, or tied to a tree. Rented accommodation must be left clean, otherwise a €90 cleaning charge will be deducted from the deposit.

Is the campsite VACAF approved?

Yes, the campsite is VACAF approved and you will need to call reception to draw up a quote with your full contact details, your benefit number, your dates and the accommodation you require….in order to offer you a quote.

Can I use vacation vouchers to pay for bookings and activities?

Yes, all accommodation and catering services are payable in ANCV and ANCV CONNECT.

Can I add a tent next to my mobile home?

Tents are not permitted next to mobile homes.

Are all mobile homes air-conditioned?

None of our mobile homes have air conditioning.

📄 General terms and conditions

Is a deposit required to rent a mobile home?

Yes, a deposit of €500 is required via an online bank loan before your arrival. This covers any damage or missing items found during the inventory of fixtures.

Do I have to make an appointment for the inventory of fixtures when I leave?

Yes, you will need to make an appointment with our staff on your departure to check the mobile home with you and return the deposit.
An inventory is carried out before your arrival by our maintenance staff and on your departure by our staff. It is important to report any discrepancies on arrival. The mobile home must be returned clean and in good condition to avoid any deduction from the deposit.

🧒 Children & entertainment

Is there a kids' club?

Yes, for 4-12 year-olds, open Tuesday and Thursday mornings (10am-12pm), €5/session per child.

What activities are on offer?

July/August: musical evenings, karaoke, shows, mini-disco, pétanque tournaments, bingo evenings, Miss Granny evenings, home-ball tournament, teen outingso….

How can I get a calendar or schedule of events?

The evening schedule is published on the events page of our website.

🤝 Practical info

What are the opening hours?

Reception open from 10am to 12:30pm and from 3pm to 6pm.

At what time can we take possession of our rental accommodation?

In high season, arrivals are from 16h and 14h in low season.

What should I bring with me in my mobile home?

Each accommodation has its own inventory, but you’ll need to remember to bring your own sheets, cleaning products, toilet paper, coffee filters and coffee, for example.
For a fee, we offer wifi tickets, disposable sheet packs, baby kits, barbecue rental, end-of-stay cleaning, hotel pack on arrival….

Is TV extra?

No, all accommodations are equipped with TV.

Parking?

Free on-site parking.

Cancellation policy ?

Cancellations possible according to rates (full refund if request made more than one month before arrival dates); check conditions when booking.

👣 Accessibility & mobility

PMR accessibility ?

Toilets suitable for PRM available.
None of our mobile homes have PMR accessibility, but equipment can be installed on request.

How do I get there?

Nearest train station 8 min by car (Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez).
LA LITTORALE bus service stops right in front of the campsite. Available in high season only.
